The Free Folk is one of the minor factions found within Westeros and is lead by King Mance Rayder.
There sigil is a black flag with a white mammoth skull.
There map colour is white.

Strengths
-Diverse troop tree with 3 different unit types able to reach tier 5 when fully upgraded.
-Access to special, more powerful units in limited supply including Giants, Wildling Chieftain Elite Guard, and Thenn Chieftain Elite Guard.
-Able to potentially gain two recruitable giant companions if starting people/heritage is set to Free Folk at the beginning of game.
-Potential, random boon event where warband of giants if certain conditions are met and the player's starting people/heritage is set to Free Folk at the beginning of the game.

Troops
The Free Folk troops wear light to medium armor and are relatively weak compared to other major factions except for their special units including Giants and Wildling Elite Chieftain Guard. The Free Folk troops do have a good diversified troop tree consisting of an archery unit, melee skirmisher unit, and light cavalry unit all able to reach tier 5 level when fully upgraded.

The factions which surround the Free Folk are the Nights Watch to the south, and The Others to the west.The capital of the Free folk is Hardhome. They control the following towns, castles, and villages:
