While neither the richest nor most powerful of the free cities, Tyrosh is by far the most aggressive.  While most of the free cities prefer to use mercenaries in their wars, Tyroshi consider military service as an honorable profession, though lesser than a career as a trader.  Additionally, Tyroshi are aggressive slavers and even send expeditions beyond The Wall in order to enslave the Free Folk.


Tyrosh is a wealthy city that produces some of the most exquisite armor and weapons in the known world. Traders may be able to purchase some of these weapons in bulk in order to sale in distant ports for major profit.  Dye is also another important trade good produced in Tyrosh, though it does offer the same lucrative profit potential as Tyroshi made armor.


 
Tyrosh is a strong power and it has the potential to become the likely winner in a protracted war with Lys and Myr, solely for the fact they are not as heavily dependent on mercenaries to do their fighting.  Though they do not depend on mercenaries, they will not hesitate to hire them in order to achieve victory against their adversaries.
