Weights and Measures
« on: August 10, 2018, 08:02:13 PM »
There is a weight to every armor and now there is a classification of medium and heavy that confers with it a penalty to certain stats.

I like the idea of this but has anyone else found the implementation to be a bit awkward?

For instance Bronn's armor has the same body armor as a leather jerkin but Bronn's armor is "medium armor" and the jerkin has no penalty.

There are other even stranger classifications. For instance a rawhide coat has a body armor of about 20 but is listed as medium armor.

There are some armors that are light weight (15 pounds) but are listed as heavy armors (Sea Raider Byrnie). The Jerkin only weighs 11 and has no penalty.

There doesn't seem to be any logic or consistency to the way an armor is classified as heavy or medium, it's actual weight, and the actual body and leg armor it provides.

At this point I'm ready to disable the feature altogether because most of the time it doesn't make any sense.

Is this going to be fixed to make sense in the future?
