What version of warband are you running Richard?

Suggestions & Discussion / Re: Moose (-ly?) minor suggestions

So, some more stuff, that you might want to add...

- Keeping records of old unhealed wounds would be nice, because I often wonder where did the points go. I think, it was called "scars" in VC.

- Troops panicking, when commander fell or they lost large number of soldiers in a short time. For AI, preferably, too.

- One of the most annoying things in M&B - blunt damage always knocks unconscious and all other damage always kills (without surgeon skill). Having a death chance for blunt and K.O. chance for cut would be amazing.

- Brothels are a bit weird. Paying to increase party morale is fine, but spending time with prostitutes yourself is... useless? It both lowers morale and takes money. Pure RP? Maybe:
 a) Have a small chance to heal a wound after staying in brothel?
 b) Give some XP?  ???
 c) Spend 1-2 hours after, so you could hide from lords in hostile towns?
 d) Small HP heal?
e) Increase "Entertainment" skill.

- Dogs, like in VC. Having them, apart from combat aid, could:
 a) Increase party foraging skill.
 b) Provide entertainment.
 c) Help to hunt Mooses & stuff.
 d) Increase party speed, like cavalry.
 e) Allow to go full Ramsay.

Best regards, Moose.

Haha nice. Be aware that you can find your injuries through the camp menu if I'm not mistaken.

-Add mini-map in battles as in ACOK. Going blind when you have few enemies is irritating.
I'm not sure about minimap, but you already can access battlemap by pressing "backspace."
Correct. It also shows troop numbers and troop type numbers, as well as troop assignments on the mini map. Its a core warband feature.

I wonder how would mod team deal with them. Will they have lords? Can they capture castles? Will they give you cattle quests? Can you enlist in their retinue as a lvl 1 wight with a wooden stick?

When they travel they get inside the town. Judging by what caribou said they were not going in, but standing near the town is all...

This is a tournament without a feast. Tournaments do not require feasts to be held. The weird part of what you said before was about lords camping outside of the town with no apparent reason. Is this what happened in the case you just posted? If yes, please post more screenshots.

Oh I've never seen that before. Is that unique to this mod?

I will try to get some screenshots of the lords milling around outside.

No, it is not unique. Maybe it occurs less in vanilla because there are fewer towns. About the camping lords: when you post the camping lords screenshot, it might help if you also post a screenshot of the menu in the town they're camping around.

As far as I know about m&b mechanics, you don't have enough renown to join the feast, or you're attempting to do so in an enemy factions city. If you're sure that's not the case, then I suggest you post here some screenshots for Produno.

about the one/two handed swords: In this mode, they're not working like in vanilla. If you see a one/two handed, it means that the weapon will turn two handed as soon as you switch to it without a shield. That's it.

For some reason whenever I try to obtain a valyrian sword and i talk to the weapon smith in the city there are only two speech options:
'Whach'a selling?' and 'whatz the gossip?'
Any tips as to why i cant ask about the sword would be appreciated.

What is your renown?

8) Attacked by allies
Bug description: I'm currently a lord with the vale, and i'm getting attacked by the lords and and patrols of the stormlands, despite not being at war with them. In fact most of the lords of the of the stormlands are friends. I didn't notice any events or actions that led to this, i was passing one of there holding and they simply started to attack me.

Same here, only difference is I'm being attacked by the Vale while playing for the riverlands.

I'd suggest taking a side. If you become a lord or a mercenary, then you should have the payment you are seeking. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you want to make it on your own without an overlord. If that's the case, you should note one thing: keeping an army without a fief or a mercenary payment is hard. Otherwise, it would be quite unrealistic. If you take  side, even temporarily, play until you become strong enough, and then detach from the side and make your own kingdom, you should find making money a lot easier.

At the beginning of the game, looting is a good way to make money, and there's also trading. If you have good enough trading or looting skills try use them. For looting, you know what you have to do :) ... as for trading, try going to towns and assessing local prices in the market. This will find you worthy deals(buying in the town you are and selling someplace else), with the level of success depending on your trading skill level.

Now for your other questions: Produno told me some time ago that the trophies still exist, only they are now a lot less common, and if I remember what he told me correctly, only high ranked lords drop them.

as for buying land, I only used that feature once, and it was a long time ago, so I don't remember any details about it at all. Will post them here after I check, most probably before tomorrow evening.
